~OOC~

- Backtagging: Absolutely! I occasionally put a limit on this just for tagload and sanity reasons, but I always talk to relevant threading partners first.

- Threadhopping: Ask just to be sure, but otherwise go for it!

- Fourthwalling: I don't have any problems with this, and Saracen's more receptive to it than a lot of characters due to home canon and the kind of life he leads. But because some of his canonmates' players are uncomfortable with it, I'm going to have to put a hard no on this one.

- Offensive subjects: Nothing that's ever been a problem in RP before! If something comes up, I'll let you know.

- Warnings: Despite Saracen having no qualms whatsoever about sex, and my placing him in a game where sex is encouraged... I'm new to threading it out, and still very much in the uncomfortable, deer-in-the-headlights, oh-god-what-I-doing phase of things. Because of that, fade to black is always going to be my preference, but I'm not opposed to giving it a shot if you are! All I ask for is a little patience as I fumble my way through things. o7

~IC~

- Hugging this character: Oh, please. He's very huggable. You could be a total stranger, and he would probably hug you back.

- Kissing this character: See: hugging, though with slightly more of an IC age limit. He might be a tad confused if a total stranger's kissing him, but he certainly won't be opposed to it. Word of author has it he wouldn't be opposed to men, either.

- Flirting with this character: Flirting is Saracen's bread and butter. It's practically a reflex. He will flirt back, and about half the time he'll mean it.

- Fighting with this character: I don't have any problems with it in theory, but Saracen - despite how much like a civilian he looks and acts - is a trained special ops soldier. It would take a lot to get him into an actual fight, especially since his magic is all about avoiding confrontation where possible. But if you manage it, he can do some serious damage if your character's not prepared. Talk to me first, and we can work something out.

- Injuring this character: Again, no problems with it in theory - heck, I love playing injured characters - but for finagling practical circumstances, talk to me first.

- Killing this character: In a permakill game like Eudio, I'd rather avoid this, but I'm open to discussion if Something is Up.

- Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Go ahead! He has a mind-reader for a father. Fair warning, though: Saracen's magic involves time travel, essentially replaying short sections of his life. Part of that magic lets him think about and reorder his own thoughts as necessary so he doesn't drive himself insane, but if a mind-reader isn't used to that, reading Saracen can be quite the headache.

~Face-Twinning~

I use Chris Pratt as Saracen's PB. That was a decision I made way back before Guardians of the Galaxy came out, but obviously he's become somewhat more prolific since then! If Saracen comes across another character played by Chris Pratt, I'm totally okay with deferring to whatever the other player is most comfortable with, from assuming they're two completely different people to SUDDEN TWIN shenanigans. I'll usually match whatever gets brought up in a thread, but if there's any confusion, please feel free to contact me.

~Saracen's Magic~

Saracen can send his own mind a few minutes back in time. In his canon, this gives him the ability to know about certain events before they happen, and to avoid potential disasters or assassins. (It also gives him the chance to show off. A lot.)

In RP, though, this power is a little tricky to handle.

I'm planning to handle it on a case-by-case basis, and to remain in OOC contact with threading partners when/if it occurs. I don't foresee Saracen using this ability in Eudio for anything more than being an insufferable show-off or protecting people from getting hurt, but it's very easy to handwave if a player isn't comfortable with it - Saracen can just choose not to use it for completely different reasons, or it simply might not work in that particular instance due to cross-canon multiverse interference of some kind.

If it does happen, I will never assume Saracen knows anything about a character's immediate future without clearing it by the other player first. Anything he does know will be more for entertainment value, Rule of Cool, or avoiding violence than actually getting an upper hand on another character. So in practice, Saracen's magic should only come into play in a thread after the other player has given full permission for it to happen.

If, however, you'd prefer not to deal with Saracen's magic no matter what, or you'd rather not be tagged by Saracen at all, please feel free to drop me a note on this post! No explanations required.
