China Sorrows, Saracen's wayward love which totally has nothing whatsoever to do with her insidious love magic. (Except for the parts where it does.) China doesn't have access to that magic in Eudio, but that hasn't stopped Saracen from... well, being Saracen. He can be objectively wary of her without letting that bias get in the way of more important things, right?

3rd October 2015 | Saracen hits on China without realising it's China. Shenanigans and barely-concealed prods at each other's dignity ensue.

Skulduggery Pleasant

Erskine Ravel, a fellow Dead Man and lifelong friend. They have a strong bond, forged while fighting for decades alongside each other in a magical war. Saracen would give his life for Erskine, and assumes Erskine would do the same for him.

Late September 2015 | Saracen meets Erskine for the first time while in Eudio. 9th October 2015 | Hopeless, Erskine, and Saracen are invited by Legolas to a party. Events include playing Wink Murder, hot tubbing, and getting high.

Skulduggery Pleasant

Descry Hopeless, a fellow Dead Man and Saracen's father. He died near the end of the war with Mevolent in the early twentieth century, and Saracen wasn't there to save him. The opportunity to right that wrong is what brings Saracen to Eudio in the first place.

Marvel's Daredevil

Karen Page gets major points in the good books for being willing and able to joke about leprechauns. She's quirky in a way Saracen finds endearing, and - always a plus - a fan of Saracen's accent. Or at least Saracen assumes she's a fan of his accent.

3rd October 2015 | The crime: leprechaun jokes. The place: Eudio's October meet and greet. The punishment: near-immediate friendship.

Blood Blockade Battlefront

Klaus Von Reinherz. Saracen met Klaus briefly at the city's meet and greet at the beginning of October. Apart from believing the man needs more of a sense of humour, he doesn't have strong feelings one way or the other. Reminds him of Ghastly Bespoke, though.

3rd October 2015 | Klaus and Saracen talk about art. Not bad as far as ice-breakers go.
